New York City is very unique city from the all point of view. Every of five boroughs is interesting place to visit. For example, Queens is one of the most ethnically diverse urban areas in the world. Diversity Heights is an ideal example of an urban diversity city in Queens. More than 65 percent of the population is made up of immigrants all over the world. Majority of the residents are Hispanic, 15 percent white, 10 percent black and approximately 20 percent South and East Asians. Here, as well as in the other boroughs, as you walk down the streets you’ll see different clothing styles, different languages spoken, and variety of restaurants.
Also, the world knows New York City as the city of skyscrapers. Built in different time periods, by different architects and builders and in different styles the New York skyscrapers have one common similarity that unites them. And it is the steel-skeleton frame construction. This type of the construction allows to build high-rises that can bear weight and wind pressure. The steel frame is an economical way of the construction which allows to build different types and styles of building.
